We’d been working on a strategy to bring together a large group of schools in a formal structure and we were stuck. We approached Dr Matt Silver and The Glass House Leadership Lab to challenge our thinking and help us develop a clear strategy. The fundamental part of the work we undertook together, was in understanding our own state and lens and that of each other, as an executive team. This began to draw out key dynamics and begin to develop a plan for growth. Matt’s invaluable experience in applying modelling was hugely beneficial to our situation. It has enabled us to develop a trajectory for our partnership, mapping out across our future horizons. It has clearly mapped out when and how we will further develop and grow, think about stakeholder engagement and in doing so, really understand the core values and principles to meet the needs of our school communities.

It has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally in a way that no other leadership training has done before. Skilled coaching has given space to think and reflect but also provided high degrees of challenge. This has facilitated such powerful growth.

It would not be too strong to say that working with Glass House Leadership Lab has changed my life. It has been energising, uplifting and reflective and challenged my thinking. Through skilful coaching, I have been able to see how significant events in my life have impacted on my development as a leader but also as a person. It has enabled me to identify the positives of these challenging events rather than focus on the negatives and celebrate the characteristics that make me me.

Our experience with The Glass House was eye-opening. Developing a clear understanding of ourselves and the team has allowed for personal and collective development, a shared understanding and increased appreciation across and within our teams. The experience facilitated a great deal of conversations and empowered a lot of positive change. The overall experience was both enjoyable and beneficial.
